Meet the YS Staff!

Meghan Kemp joined the Eldredge Public Library staff as the Youth Services Librarian in January 2020. Prior to joining the EPL team, she created free, literacy-based family programming in 11 Cape towns – from Barnstable to Provincetown. Known for the energy, passion, and fun she brings to her work, Meghan was named one of Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine's 40 under 40. She is a fan of fantasy, nonfiction, historical fiction, graphic novels, biographies, science fiction….okay she’s a fan of all books!  Meghan graduated from Skidmore College with a major in English Literature and a minor in Dance. She received her Nonprofit Management Certification in April 2020 from Tufts University’s Institute for Nonprofit Practice. She lives in Brewster with her husband, Matt, her two kiddos, a cat, a dog, and a hamster!

Leah lives in a lively house in Eastham with her husband Will, her four children (ages 12, 10, 8, and 5), her creative mother, a cat named Galaxy, a gecko lizard named AJ, and lots and lots of books!

Tamara (Tammy) DePasquale came to the Eldredge Public Library in December 2002.  She is the Assistant Director and Department Head for Youth Services…only because she could never totally give up Youth Services or the opportunity to have fun with Meghan and Leah!  She holds a Masters Degree from the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons University. When she is not reading, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking in the Arizona desert, playing escape games, and dreaming of a retirement where she is either driving a bookmobile or working at Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter!  She has three grown children, two grandchildren, and lives in Chatham with her husband Dave, Chatham’s Fire Chief.
