Eldredge Public Library's mission is to enhance the quality of life in Chatham by providing Chatham residents and visitors with the library services they need and want. Here, at-a-glance are a few of the services you can access when you come to the Eldredge Library.
Telephone Transactions: Call 508-945-5170 to renew items on your account, find out about programs or ask a reference question. Someone is always available to take your call!
Photocopier: Black and white copies available at $.15/copy. We have letter, legal and 11x17 size paper.
Fax Services: Sending: $2.00 for 1st page, $1.00 for each additional page; Receiving: $1.00 per page.
Our fax number is 508-945-5173. If receiving, please have sender put your name and phone number so we can contact you.
Wi-fi Hotspot: We do have wireless internet available throughout the building, and in close proximity outside the building 24/7. We are the "Eldredge" network. No password required.
Forgeron Meeting Room: We have meeting room facilities availble to non-profit community groups.
Public Computers: We offer 13 public computers with Microsoft office software, Internet access and printing. We also offer 15 laptops for In-Library Use. A valid DL is required to borrow laptops; they have Internet access but no printing.
Microfilm Reader/Printer: The Microfilm reader/printer is available to the public. You can bring in your own microfilm or we can request film for you through Inter-Library Loan.
Museum Passes: Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Eldredge Public Libary, the EPL offers a variety of museum passes.
Book Groups - Everyone is welcome to join our two book groups, or we can help obtain books for your members.
