With Armistice (and Veteran's!) Day this month, we can't think of a better way to commemorate than hosting award-winning Cape Cod historical fiction author Janis Robinson Daly for an engaging talk, as she shares her inspiration and research which led to writing her latest historical novel Under Two Flags. Drawing upon the memoir of eighteen-year-old Josephine Therese Marzynski, a Boston opera student trapped in Berlin during World War I, Daly explores how Josephine's passion for music drives her strength to endure even in humanity’s darkest hours. Book sale and signing to follow! Registration is required for this in-person program at the library on Monday, November 16 @ 3:00 pm. Walk-ins are subject to availability. (Note: This is an adults, 18+ only program.)
