An original suite composed by Indigenous (Tlingit) artist Kim Moberg tells an ancient yet relevant Anishinaabe legend in song, teaching the importance of living with respect for people of all colors and cultures in addition to living in harmony with our environment. The hour-long presentation will include a short talk by Moberg and a brief video by Canadian Indigenous artist Erin Stagg, followed by live concert performed by Ms. Moberg and local fiddler/violist Heather Swanson. Registration is required for this in person event at the Library on Thursday, October 29 @ 5:00 pm. (Note: This program is appropriate for all ages, but best suited for ages 7 and up.) The program is funded in part by a grant from the Chatham Cultural Council, supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
